it all comes down to what do you want to sit from ground to fenderlip.

honestly on his truck once he does shock extenders his ride should improve because the shocks wont get that horrible side load force that hes getting and will have a chance to actaully work.

also shock height will start to play ie at 8 inch spring height ride height at 32 inches with shock extenders your prob at 16.5 at ride height. now if your going to put a 8 inch spring in you will have to get a shock that has max 16.25 extended length so shock doesnt pop out. you can get away with 16.5 length due to the way the center of the lower mount is.

Pretty sure you had 5" djm as they do not make a 4" coil Modded. My truck sits just a hair lower than a buddy's 3/5 with the isolators removed and the exact same tire, same truck, spare in tact, and he has a larger speaker box.

Oh they don't?
Well either way its a beautiful stance, for some reason I don't trust these Qa1 springs, they look prett sskinny/small to handle an almost 3ton SUV.
So how did it ride Max?

"do you know why he took them off?"

I don't remember. We were pm'n back and forth about it. I just remember he said he went back to stock.

"i guess an SS bumper will help with the front too."

Not really, you are going to have to have to move the bumpers down an inch or they will interfere with the grill in front and hatch in back.

Rode ok but he could use some better shocks. My truck rides significantly better.

i cant shock is 1/2 short with the djm extenders i can put weight on the back to get it to go down an inch but i think it will break the shock since its whats going to hold the rear 1/2 inch lower. i dont get it why is it not going down????? is it the tire size? this is pissing me off! if it dont go as low as i want with cnotch, new strings and spindles im going to sell this pos and get a crew cab or a dually. **** this.

the shock is at such a bad angle thats why youned the extenders.

trust me drop down the spring to a 8-500 and you will be more than happy and you can use the shock extenders.

9-400 is a little soft on a trailblazer ss rear set up. Im now going with a 8-500 (helping a member on my site) the 9-400 dropped him 4.5 inches over the stock trailblazer rear and the tahoe/yukon rears are 280 pounds heavier than the trailblazers.

here are all the 8 inch springs that would fit

so you guys know you can also spot weld the rear spring on the lower spring perch if you want to go with a shooorrttt spring and still have movement. Did this on a trailblazer ss which uses pretty much same axle mounts for spring.
