I hooked one of the heater hoses pulling my engine and likely have a tiny crack in one of the plastic Ts. I'll replace that when my new water pump gets here and I'm going to lose a bunch of coolant anyway.

My t connectors were already replaced and I pulled them off before I pulled engine, it's not those. I can smell it very clearly by the top radiator hose at the radiator connection. So either the hose is slightly leaking or there is a hairline crack.

Rear wiper fluid issue was just the crappy chinese replacement wiper arm. The line already split after 3 months.

Did my 3rd oil change since new engine went in.

First change, I get up to 210 coolant temp then drain.
2nd change, did about 200 miles.

First two changes were mobil 5000 basic oil. I have been getting a lifter clacking on cold start, just for a second or two then they quiet right down. It's def bleeding down or there is air inside still. I read this can occur for up to 500 miles.

Just in case, I bought some higher quality oil, Mobil 1 0W-40. I also double checked my pushrod length and it came back again at .040" preload, which is what they recommend at Johnson.

I'll see if the better oil cures the cold startup noise. I'm gonna run this oil a normal interval.

What filter? Maybe a faulty ADBV?

I just use the A/C delco ones. I've read about this problem with Johnson lifters on cold startup.

First guy put in longer pushrods, fixed it.
Other guy changed his oil and that fixed it.

I did the oil first. If that doesn't work, I have .025" longer pushrods already in my garage. I'm not too concerned, engine is very quiet once warm.

So evidently there isn't a stocked version of the IAT breakout harness for our Maf pigtail. Casper is going to custom make me one :)

I am going to do this + a real flex fuel sensor to maximize the setup. See if I can get into the low 5's on the 0-60. I don't think 4's will be possible without a real stall, which I ain't doing lol.

Yup, I am a dealer for these so I will buy at cost.

I actually ordered this, the pigtail is not correct. The truck pigtail is different. I called Casper just now and they custom made me one for $10 cheaper than this even after shipping.
