I run yukon gears as well, good stuff.

Procomp springs as what you want, 52" springs for the two door. Got mine at summit racing. Part number is 13411

Found a set of 4.88 gears from Yukon for $223.90. Thanks guys not bad!
My rear axle should be a 10 bolt 8.5" - 30 Spline. Right?

So I did out all the figures and this will end up costing me $3380.00 for everything I need so just a ball park figure for anyone else that might be doing a 6.5" Cepek lift on a 2 door hoe this price is - the brake lines, alignment, exhaust mods because those I can do myself or get done for free.

sounds right for the rear.

I would also factorin a little extra cost for "gremlins". Did you include the new front shaft and or the rear shaft lengthening?

Dual front shocks? Depends on how hard you're going to be hitting a bump with the front end, or dropping it. All the shocks do is keep the suspension springs from bouncing the rig like a kid on a pogo stick. So while they look cool, unless you're going to be dropping it off of cliffs, or regularly hitting curbs at full speed, they're probably unneccessary, IMHO. But they look badass.

I wanted a lift on my rig strictly to get bigger tires underneath it, strictly to get the rear diff further off the ground to give me more clearance in snow, and moderately unkept logging roads. I'm not crawling with it, or jumping off stuff with it. That's what my K5 is for. Maybe if you figure out what you're going to be doing with it, it will help us budget your money for you better?

If your rig is not going to see regular trail use, I wouldn't bother doing the gears, but do the dual shocks. If your rig is going to see mostly trail use, I wouldn't bother with the dual shocks, but do the gears. There's also some tips on tires I can give you that will depend on your useage.

I have to correct you about the gears, larger tires need gears. With out you put more strain on the tranny. The thing will also be a dog. I said it before, I was running 35's with 3.73 gears and a 383 motor and I was not happy. a 35" tire needs 4.56 gears to make it feel stock.

As for gremlins your meaning shit your gonna have to fix while doing the install right ha? Yeah I fractioned in the Dual Cardon Driveshaft. Let me see... I'm a crazy driver. I take this truck everywhere as is. I jump off shit and throw alittle mud and go on some mean trails and I put it to the test. Plus the ****** concrete/aspault roads around my house with millions of potholes and the rest so if possible I want this thing to be pretty tough...

if the lift goes on, replace the upper and lower ball joints. And to get correct alignment it might/probably will be necessary to replace your idler and pitman arm. also if the bleed screws on the calipers strip or break expect to have to replace the calipers as well (but thats cheap). i dont know what the mileage and wear is on your vehicle but those are all things common on higher mileage vehicles, and those with lots of wear and abuse.

I just lifted my hoe too.. I'm running on 295/75 bfg all terrains and its dogging it pretty good.. I'm thinking of just re gearing my rear axle for now since Im not gonna be using the 4x4 for awhile.. Do you think $550 to do the rear axle is reasonable?

Well from the post you quoted from me, I found gears for our rear axle for $223.00. So I'd say no, unless that's the price of the gears installed. If you know how to do it yourself do it ha.

And again thanks for all the info guys. I'm writing it all down in a notebook so when it starts to cool off down here in SW Florida in a couple months I can purchase all of this stuff and have it ready to go and do it all myself in the driveway. Right now its 95 everyday + 90% humidity its just to damn hot.
