That's what I was thinking of doing, but the guy I talked to said I might want to consider 4.88's if I even plan to get a bigger or heavier tire.
I tow a good amount so I would hate to be under geared (dealt with that in my last truck and it sucked) and for just one size it would suck to have to pay to do it all again.

Wow, I had no idea. I am seriously re gearing now! I'm stock 3.73's with 35's getting 9ish (uncorrected speedo). Now the problem I have is what gears to go with.

I have 35x12.50 on the Suburban with 4.56:1 gears and get 16-18 out of her. Not to mention she'll spin the tires off the line. You should see the looks on the rice burners faces when I spin the 35's from a stop light.. LOL

OK I'm am needing a drop pitman arm. I've asked around at a few shops but they tell me they don't make one. what parts change so i can get rid of the steep angle on my steering arm. and i don't wear out heim joints.

Some searching says a 79 f150 arm will work, like this:
http://www.wfoconcepts.com/pr/Superlift-1104-Pitman-Arm-Chevy-tie-rod-taper/3163/3360/3362

Part of the problem is the drag link is at a different angle compared to the track bar. When you hit a bump the axle shift slighty to the passenger side. Since the angle is greater on the drag link as compared to the track bar, it's going to kick the steering to the right.

I would suggest using a drop pitman arm, high steer on the axle like this:

and track bar that is equal length and at the same angle as the drag link.
