I did a 900 Mike drive from CT to SC last weekend. Averaged about 22.3 for the trip. Actually went over 25 mpg during one 50 mile stretch. Truck was fully loaded with luggage too. Very pleased with the mileage. Better fuel economy than the v6 Nissan xterra that I had before my Yukon. Starting the return trip tomorrow. Will post an update with mileage on the rest of the trip in a few days.

My wife has driven 80% of the first 1000 miles and we had been putting in 87.

Per Onstar app our lifetime Average mileage is 14MPG for 1037 miles.

I just filled up with 93....and plan to tow the boat 3hrs away. Fingers crossed something is not wrong with our beautiful new Black YUKON XL SLT Sun and HD trailering package and upgraded 22in black insert wheels.

(Gawd it is beautiful!)

I was presented the choice of the truck with 18s or 22s.... emotionally I could not deny the 22s!

Just took a 2000 mile trip from dallas to all over colorado. Overall average for my Denali was 20.8 mpg. Best tank was actually in the mountains and was almost 24 mpg. This was a lot better than I thought it would be.

first 1500 miles averaging 17.3. depending on my driving, the "last 25" runs 15-20mpg, with best of 23mpg.

So I drove my x5 tonight and my long term mpg is 19.9 (and it's rated for 19 city) so assuming I drive similar on the two. I would expect 16mpg. I'm getting the mpg equivalent to using e85. I wonder if the cup somehow thinks I'm Using e85 and is adjusting performance.

I'm supprised everyone missed this E85 is cheaper but there is A drawback and that is you get bad gas mileage! In the long run E85 will actually cost you more. you will have to run out most of it to start getting better MPG.

I only have 400 mile on my yukon XL and live in chicago I get 14.5 in the city and 21.7 hwy. I think it will get better when the motor brakes in.

Mpg is up to 25.7 and I'm still breaking in the engine with only 650 miles.

Yeah.. I was thinking something was wrong as I pulled over 26mpg on an almost non-stop 100 mile run down to Ocean City, MD a few days ago. On the back to Baltimore I filled up and calculated based on miles and sure enuff this vehicle is pulling between 25-28 mpg on the road. For quite a while doing 70-75 the vehicle was in V4 mode. Awesome job again GM
