I am curious if any of yall have done this, just wondering if it caused any glitches, kinda like needing load resistors when you do LED tails.

My standard daytime light bulbs are yellow and dull, just curious if I could swap to a white LED without needing to do any extra wiring...

Thanks

Yes I have LEDS for DRLs on my Lade. They work fine and have had zero issues. Just plug and play. They are nice and bright. I bought a set for my fronts and reverse lights. When my perimeter lights turn on they are super bright at night. Love Em.
This is the ones I bought.

Also here is what they look like at night. I never have taken a pic during the day because my DRLs only turn on when the truck is in drive. If you really need a pick I can try and take one. This is the reverse uploadfromtaptalk1440979857946.jpg

I have LED DRLs. They work great. No resistors needed. No polarity issues either.

Thanks! Thats perfect! Just wanted to spruce up the front end, and looking at that price, back-up lights now as well, especially with my tint.

If you cant take a picture of the DRL during daylight, thats fine, I just wanna make sure I am not gonna be blinding everyone like I have mini-hi beams on when driving around, some LED's are insanely bright. I am about to do a thin/medium-thin layer of VHT on my spider Tail's, they are brutal at eye level for the guy in a Honda accord behind me, all I see when I turn my blinker on is it looks like someone flashing a red light in their face or my tails lighting up their car lol...

OK I have to apologize for the not so great pic. I tried to do this real quick as I left the Doctor's office for my kids. I took one on then off. I know it's only looking like a slight difference. But trust me when I say that in person you can tell. I see them clearly when I am behind someone. Also I know of a guy in the cadillac owners forum that has the same but chose the brighter ones. But it boils down to personal preference there. I wanted the LEDS for the purpose of perimeter lighting at night and the 30s that I linked before are good enough for me.

Good luck with whichever you choose. You can't go wrong with either.

Polarity issues? Yes all LED's have to be installed with polarity in mind. If you put them in reverse polarity they don't light up. With that said, it took me a few tries before I found some that last. DRL's turn on and off a lot so you need quality ones, not the cheapest ones.

Also if you have the truck in drive and put on the parking brake iirc the day time running lights or head leads turn off with the parking brake engaged
