I've been looking everyday for another truck I think that may be the route I will go, saw a 07 xl for $5500 yesterday with 180k, but she likes the nbs's so trying to get lucky with another 2wd with 160k or less I think one will show up soon, it's either that or price a set of remaned heads or dump some snake oil in it and see what happens. it's still running just a smidge thirsty.

I have the 862's on the 4.8. Funny--had the same exact issue when the 4.8 was in my Hoe--adding coolant.

I don't drive that one she does I paid $3000 for it with 100k on the clock like 4-5 years ago or so, now it's got 240k I guess I got my moneys worth out of it, took me months to find that deal
