I got mine when I had the 3.8 LeSabre with the imploding intake manifold gasket. It was on sale, and my vehicles are usually 10 years or older. As I said in another thread, I've had to fix 3 or 4 coolant leaks on my Tahoe, similarly on my Explorer, and also similarly on my my Lesabres. The only vehicle that seemed rock solid was my 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis. I loved that car. For that matter, it's too bad GM got out of the BOF sedans. On the other hand, now that we have SUVs, I wouldn't go back to any sedan now.
So, yeah, I've used mine more than a few times. (Also, in Canada, the parts stores don't lend out tools for free.)
