All I did was a 12249 Magnaflow muffler, removed flapper and left resonator. Nice low rumble. When its not 17 degrees out I'll get a sound clip.

The 12249 is a 3" in and out center. They also make a 3" center in / offset out. Either will work but the offset would have matched up a bit better. They already had to put a piece of pipe in to fill in the stock HUGE muffler so they put a nice subtle bend in the pipe and it welded right up. You do here the V4 kick in but soon enough that will be tuned out.

Popped the hood to see about adding a CAI but on mine (6.2 in the Denali) the air filter gets routed to another U-shaped baffle/box with sensors on each side. That then goes to the air intake on the engine. What is that thing, do I need it, and is it restricting performance or helping it?!

Thanks for the info, LGSONE! I'll have to look into this. A sound clip would be great! Only after it warms up, of course! LOL

That appears to be the resonator/baffle, what a Cai Intake will delete and give you that intake sound

What CAI is better the KN or Volant or Corsa. Any thoughts. I just ordered the Corsa exhaust Pn 14826 with the polished tips for my 2015 Yukon Denali so I thought the next step would be the CAI then maybe a Daiablo sport T-100 Programmer

Do yourself a favor...get a Airaid MIT or Airaid Jr. ..much cheaper, uses stock airbox, and was proven to outperform other full CAI's.
