Airaid or k&n ?

of course it was designed to be quiet....is it restrictive ??? YES< and that has been proven. the question is, at what cost ??? slightly more noise ?? OK, i will do with the slight engine growl, generally it is only under harder acceleration.

normal driving it isnt noticed much. and YES i do feel it was a gain, as i am lifted with larger rolling stock...and yet no reduction in fuel consumption and no noticeable loss of performance.

these dinosaurs have a few hidden ponies the factory doesnt allow to be out.

do some research on tuning and see what gains can be had.

But the 5.3 and 6.2 use the same filter box, so if it's a restriction for the 5.3 imagine how much of a restriction it is for the 6.2!!
