I was driving today, and i hit a patch of really hard bumps in the road. and about 1/8th of a mile down the road it almost felt like i had SUPER low tire pressure in my passenger side. it felt heavy to turn like it was getting flat.

So i pull over, check it out. Everything looks fine. Nothing broken from what i can see. But heres the thing.

Usually when i hold the wheel straight, with the chevy emblem perfectly centered, it goes straight like its supposed to. Now, i have to keep a slight right turn on the wheel to get it to stay straight. If i line the chevy emblem up it will pull left.

When i hit the brakes, it pulls right also.

Do you think something broke or just needs an alignment?

I would think that if the feel was that far off that something would be noticeable. A mushy feeling points to a shock gone bad but that shouldn't make it pull. Maybe you broke the drivers side torsion bar and its resting on the stop making the other side feel smoother? Maybe a hub got really wacked causing the pull but that wouldn't explain the mushiness.

Yer gonna have to jack it up and go through it all.

Hmm, Its hard to explain. It feels like its leaning toward the passenger side when driving and when turning it feels like its just much tougher. And its shaking like hell at higher speeds and turning.

Right now my truck is outside with the steering wheel perfectly straight and the wheels are tilted toward the passenger side..

After looking at it again my tire pressure is way low on the passenger side. Could low tire pressure cause all these problems? Also i recently rotated my tires to give me more tread up front for the winter.

Yeah could be the low tire pressure. Fill em up then post. I was thinking you might need some new shocks. And a broken torsion bar? Then I was thinking U-joints but that would cause shaking in 4wd. Or Torsion Bars or whatever there called.

You must have broken an A frame or jarred the alignment enough to notice the change in the steering wheel.

Take a good flashlight under the truck and start checking all the components.
Check over both the upper and lower A frames closely. Look for cracks.

Well guys its in she shop now getting repaired so...Hopefully its not to much $$$$ ! But, the problem with my new fuel pump ending up being a line got pinched between the pump and the casing causing it to vibrate.
