I think it is all good. Just don't get many posts of people joining and then wanting to meet and make friends so quick. Some people, likely like you, just are way friendly and nothing wrong with that. You set us back for a second. Become a contributing member and you will make friends and like @swathdiver said, lots of members in your area. There is also a Regional Forums section at the home page that you can explore as well.
