Speaking of powerblock, I ran into the co-host of muscle car, Steve Mank at the local Wendys last night. He and his wife were on there way back to Tulsa OK from SEMA. He's a pretty cool guy, easy to talk to.

lol

It costs a lot more than $1500 to swap the axles out. The truck looks pretty sweet though.

Man, they compare doing a SAS to a suspension lift kit in terms of price. Maybe if you can do it yourself, but how much would someone charge to get your old suspension ripped out, front and rear axles cleaned up and re-geared like that, and then installation? Guessing not cheap at all.

Ian posted the build up on Pirate4x4 and GMFS. It's like over a year old now lol

It came out pretty solid. I did not like the first part however, when they showed the rear and it had stacked lift blocks. That show's people how to build a death trap. Not a capable safe rig

It's hard to SAS a truck on a budget. Some people just get lucky and find parts really cheap, or have good connections. People also forget the small stuff, like shop supply's you will need, tools, fluids, paint, bolts and hardware or whatever

I wish Jesse Combs was still on extreme4x4. She was pretty knowledgeable and hott. Dream wife for sure
