Anyone running Spohn Rear Control Arms?

Ok, Thanks! I was just curious as I'm picking up my new/used 2007 Blue Metallic 2007 Yukon Denali 6.2L tomorrow It's got 149k miles on it and I'm not gonna waste any time. First thing is going through the suspension and dropping it a little then the motor/transmission. I don't think I'll be pushing 700hp as this is my DD for my kids and I have a twin turbo 67 Camaro I'm building right now for the street (1,200 - 1,500hp)... I easily see 600hp in my immediate future though so I'm really curious what he ended up doing as I just contacted Tony about his complete lowering/cornering package.

Nice man, congrats on the new to you ride. Blue metallic ooohhh purdy, I love that color.
You can see 600 but not 700HP hahaha, too funny.

That Camaro is INSAAAAANNE, love car ****. Ehh you know it only has about 1500hp Nice.

they dont make any for my application yet soon i hope

They make the adjustable round ones and the boxed non-adjustable ones. Here's the description for the boxed ones:


"Our boxed rear lower control arms outperform the flexible, stamped-steel arms and soft rubber bushings that come from the factory. Eliminate wheel hop, get more stable towing performance and increase traction with an easy bolt on installation. All ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the fluted polyurethane bushings. Available powder coated in your choice of the above colors for a brilliant and durable finish.

Our boxed rear lower control arms are constructed from 2.0" x 1.5" x .120" wall rectangular tubing, and are 100% TIG welded for the ultimate in strength and appearance."

I'm interested in wheel hop and traction since I'm installing a blower. I want to hook up and I don't need to adjust them. I just reinstalled my 26" wheels after winter and rechecked the front-to-back. They're only off by 1/8"- 1/4". At the most I could move them forward 1/8" to be perfectly centered. Not worth it.

I just ordered the Spohn boxed lowers. I'll post the results.

I am thinking of doing the boxed lowers as well on my 2014 Denali.
And the Panhard bar too..

I’ve had them on for about a year. They’re a good solid quality product. I haven’t noticed any wheel hop. I ended up with a Whipple, cam, stall, headers, etc. Very happy with the control arms. Sorry, I thought I came back and updated this thread.

Here we go I had to adjust mine my rear wheels didn’t rub hardly at all but after I installed these they did so I had to move the wheels toward the rear more

Those caliper covers will hold heat in and not let your brakes cool off.

I’ve had them on for couple years. Never had a issue. Thanks tho. An I’m sure they do hold some heat in but I’ll take it for the look. I do want a set of Wilwood but that’s bout 5 grand

Not sure where you're shopping but I got my Wilwood set, front and rear for $3,500... Fronts are the 16" Rotor (#1408992R) and rear are 14.25" (#1409407R). Bought mine from Autoplicity but you can shop around.
