nice!FINALLY yes. OBDX Pro GT for the win. Just not with this tower I lugged into the garage, apparently. But my Surface Pro 7 worked with it.
Does it have the minimum RAM? No. HD space? No. Operating system (Pro)? No. But sure, we'll work now.

the autel adapter needed for programming is a j2534 pass thru device and is sold-separately and is closer to $1000 it is pretty much just like a mdi2My understanding from the GM Tech is that the Tech 2 can no longer be used for programming modules, because GM implemented a new programming interface standard, and deprecated the programming interface that was used with the Tech 2. Many folks have converted to an Autel bi-directional scanner for actual programming of modules (~$500).
I may purchase one of these bi-directional scanners, particularly if it can also service the Honda brand vehicles. Can you point me to a specific scanner on that page of several scanners that you would suggest?the autel adapter needed for programming is a j2534 pass thru device and is sold-separately and is closer to $1000 it is pretty much just like a mdi2
That's just the pass thru part, the device should say all the systems it supports I don't know what system Honda uses haven't owned one in over 30 yearsI may purchase one of these bi-directional scanners, particularly if it can also service the Honda brand vehicles.
