Bad blower motor resistor?

My fan works on all settings except 1. Would this be cause by a bad resistor, or a bad switch?

Hey I just replaced mine the Ignition blower resistor because the only fan settings that work were 4 and sometimes 5. Now that I change it 1,2,3,4,5 work perfectly.

Very likely to be the resistor. I've never even seen a switch fail yet.
