bad mileage

02 5.3l flex fuel, superchip, cold air, tbs, flowmaster, new iridium plugs and wires and im getting around 12 mpgs, is that normal?? just doesnt seem right

Any check engine lights/codes?
What brand are the plugs? I have head not so good stories about the latest greatest news ones out there, and most everyone has no problem with stock AC Delcos.
Any symptoms like bad idle, smoke, etc?
Did your mileage go down after you put these mods or maintenance items on?

I'm no tech, but some more info may help you get more help.

ive got 5.3 CAI, BB tune and I get 13.4 city

I have no performance mods...yet, and I get around 12-14 mpg city-highway mix.

I get 10.3 mpg in city... I'd take 12 mpg

Clearly I don't drive my truck hard enough, I'm averaging 16.1 around town driving (highway mix into town and streets in town)

ok, i get 14.3 mpg with 5.3 . and thought that was crap. stock motor with swiss cheese mod. i know the 24's dont help any either

Clean the tb & clean the maf. The mileage isn't super off average. I get 14.

I would love to get 12, some get @14 and some like me get @10 with not much difference between vehicles. I've done full tune up, full synthetic fluids, and other mods. I think it is what it is

Wow 10mpg. that would really suck. I average about 15 with 22s on city and 18 highway
