Battery good, fuel pump primes, turn key NOTHING (no clicks). Solved with out and into drive again?

TITLE SHOULD READ OUT and INTO PARK

So I started with what I thought was a bad battery. But windows, sound, ac everything is working fine, power is a little low, but not enough that it should be a battery. Okay, starter or start solenoid? Since I'm not getting ANYTHING, nothing. I try jumping 30\85, nothing.

I see some faint discussions that this could be related to the car not recognizing it being in park\neutral. This also reminds me of a time last week where the indication lights in gear selection lagged. After throwing it in park I get 3... 21P.

So I'm fairly certain I have some issue with the gear indication electrical. I'm hoping someone can shine some light on possible issues so I can "strand proof" myself in the next week.

Couldn't find much with this set of circumstances on Google and got the truck started before I took it in for PCM\Fuel Pump\Starter\Battery. Lot's of guys throwing parts at this problem.

Anyways thanks for any help, this is a needed thread for the community.

sounds like the Neutral Safety Switch in the trans

I agree-that delayed gear indication is the red flag.
