Where did you order from?

I have these sockets already: http://tinyurl.com/pwts9fq
They seem to be pretty good quality at least

Well I'd hate to admit it but I ordered off ebay. I just couldn't make myself pay $150 for some off of VLEDS. I have been looking for hours over the past week to make sure I get quality and the correct ones. It could bite me in the ass but I think they are nice quality from the research I did. Paid about $65 for four of them including resistors.

I'm still debating on my headlights so I'd like to spend more there. Looking at doing the projectors. Do yours have much bleeding and blinding of the oncoming traffic without using projectors?

They definitely scatter, but I have mine aimed down a bit. My wife told me they weren't bad at all when she's met me on the road, but projectors will obviously give you better light output.

Honestly some of the most blinding light I've met on the road were projectors on Acuras, which happens to be what my wife drives haha

I hope the ebay ones work out for you. I went cheap once and had to replace them after a couple of months. They seemed to work fine, but would just turn off and not work again until I restarted the vehicle after they blinked 5 or 6 times while signaling.

The good news is you can do the HID kit now and then reuse the ballasts and bulbs (probably the bulbs, not guaranteed) later in projectors.

I went through that link but that seller wasn't selling those exact ones anymore. They did have some others but they were asking ridiculous price for them. Did you happen to see my wiring guide using the diodes? Have you tried that before?

I'll let you know how they are when I get them.

daaaaaaamn....I'm really wanting to do a projector retrofit now too. The Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1) is what I'm looking at, but I'm a bit scared to dive into a project like that since I'll basically be without headlights for however long it takes and I've never done it before..

Opening the OEM headlights is supposed to be pretty much impossible too, so you have to buy an aftermarket set to open up.
