Why don't you have him buy the struts mod them then sell it to you that way you know it's done right.

I think ill just have people ship them to me and ill mod them. As ive been doing that now. Works out better for me. Last thing I need is supplying a wrong shock and then I get blamed. I was thinking about offering them modded but might be a issue so ill stick to just modifying the customers supplied struts

did another truck today and since you got the pedders just wanted to show you between the 2. Installed 5 coils were also resting on eachother on the pedders coils and had a clean 2.75 inch drop over stock. Customer didnt want the truck slammed since I only did the front for a 1 inch drop with my strut mod. 1 inch drop in front with these springs in the rear looked good. Looking forward to seeing how your truck looks.

So the Bilstein is a snap ring, and CAN be done?

Your best bet is to buy one and see.
I cannot remember if my HDs had a snap ring or not because I did not know there was a snap ring on the fronts until yesterday. The shocks are yellow though so I am assuming if it had a snap ring I would have noticed it over the black stock shock.

Should have snap. At least up to now they have that ive done. I machine parts on tuesday and thursday nigjts on the side so if you send them to me can get them done pretty fast

Probably around 35 40 dollars because it was 30 to ship the coils to me and that's with them weighing 20 pounds because I calculated it out my self on ups.com you can too its pretty easy if you estimate the weight of two shocks at like 10 pounds
