first of all id cut only starting with pass side my pedders were off also. Swapped springs and was better but pass side still way off. Thats why I cut mine more on pass side then drivers.

2nd of all if the ride was that much better with belltechs and the billsteins id just put those back in and sell your springs and get some money back. Truck will sit lower as it did before and you said you were happy with the ride so roll with it.

Now for cutting springs its not a 1 to 1 ratio ie 1 inch height on dead coils will be 1 inch at tire. I would start off with cutting 2.5 coils on pass side only and then recheck it also cut off the top only and when you drop the truck down just make sure to keep it in the center of the top isolator. Once weight is on it will stay straight due to lower pigtail on coil.

On all the trucks ive done cutting the pass side will also affect drivers side on the solid axle trucks. Dont be surprised if you cut 4 coils and drivers side none to get it to sit even.

Cool. Hey Tony I will be getting you to machine mine when I get them.

I am not a baller, so I am happy with a inch drop in the front. :)

Well my truck has always had the one inch lean even with the bell tech 5305 coils I had a 1.5 inch spacer on the drivers side rear and only a 1 inch spacer on the passenger side.

I'm kinda wishing you still had those cut coils I'd snag those up too because I'm scared about cutting these coils off and the potential of cutting too much makes me scared for my wallet.

No tony you misunderstood me.
I love how the pedders ride. I was just telling goodinblack he would be good if he only changed out his shocks. Because the ride was fine with the 5305/4600 combo. The 2425/4600 combo is even better tho.

Trail and error trust me on this if you want to be safe no biggie. Start off with 2 loops and see how it is. Then you can cut another loop and another loop. To get it down to 34 inches you will need to cut a lot of loops this is why the belltech with the billsteins you had in there before would be better.

and i think i got mixed up also. I meant that if the belltech with the billsteins rode that much better than with belltech shocks and you liked it then just put those back in. IM sure the pedders ride nice but just sits way to high and to go from 36 inches to 34 you will be hacking away so id just sell the springs put old set up back in

I like the way the pedders ride better.
I'm gonna wait before I cut anything to get the struts and spindles installed.
Once I install those two things ill remeasure the front and adjust the rear accordingly.

But were you saying 2 loops to get one inch lower?
So most likely ill end up cutting 2 loops on the drivers side and 4 on the passenger side?

Tony is the spring rate higher on the pedders than the bell techs?
And if it is does that mean they are stiffer?

I know for a fact that my drivers side rear was at 35" with the 5305 plus 1.5 spacer.
So if I could just get the passenger side down to 35 I'd be happy as a lark because I like the stance I had it at right before I switched the coils.
I'm glad I remembered that that'll make this easier.

So tony one last question how many loops should I cut to get the passenger side rear down one inch?

When you cut pass drivers will cone down also remwmber that. They are dead coils so start with two loops and remeasure but due to the fact the drivers side will come down also you will need to cut more.

Reguardless just start off with two full looos on pass side and then see where it sits and go from there. After that point cut one loop at a time. And remember to look at how many loops you have left. Id keep at least one loop touching fully so you have prob 5 loops to cut

But by cutting loops will I ever get it even? Because you are saying every time I cut the passenger side the drivers will come down.
