Is that really the cause of it?

Because I feel like it didn't lean before I lowered it?

That's the reasons I've always heard. I've had an '02 Sierra that did it since new (lowered 2" in rear). My dad's 04 Yukon did it (stock). My Burb does it. I don't think the Burb's is the 2" you said yours is at but it's probably an inch when the tank is full.

Take some measurements. Measure right after filling the tank up and then measure again when the tank is at a quarter full or less. I'll be interested to see if it really is true or not. I did read it somewhere, though, and it makes sense to me.

If one cuts the coils how do the springs still fit in the upper and lower perches?

The coils get smaller and the top and bottom, right?

Well when I measured last night I only had less than a quarter tank so my hoe just sags regardless(pun intended)

Well guys I just finished the install.
What a waste of time.
The 5305s sat 1/4" lower than the 4230s. I used to be at 35" even in the rear.
Now I am at 35.25" in the rear.
I am about to make a thread about this shit (lying about drop heights) because it is getting old.
