Blower doesn't work on one speed

The blower motor does not work on the second to highest speed. All others work fine. I replaced the resistor as this seemed to be the common problem but no change. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Thanks, that is what I thought! Even though the resister seemed to be the likely culprit!

Try a little reading comprehension before you shoot your mouth off. I stated that I had just replaced the resistor because it seemed like the most likely problem. It did not fix it so I asked what might be next.
You even followed up with another suggestion.
I responded to you not Tony.
So, what the hell to you. Are you not even coherent enough to follow your own post? Real nice attitude you have.

Fan switch on the HVAC controls is a culprit, just did that last week. Sunlit knows his shit, listen to him. You can pull that control panel out and check the voltages coming off the switch to see if it's bad.
