Thanks for the suggestions. I've got the 1000 mile drive back home to FL a week from today. After another week of driving and that long trip I'll really know how I feel about it. I love the exterior sound and hate to mess with it. Its not terrible inside just maybe a bit much. I'll be doing a little more homework on this, I guess there's a lot of options...

You weld or clamp it?

Thanks guys. Any idea on which one or which style might help with the drone but not kill the mean sound on the outside? The outside sound could stand to go down a little and still be mean enough for my taste. I know you can't have your cake and eat it too... Unless you want to fork out 1K+ for Corsa :)

You have the stock resonator right?

Place it at the end of the tailpipe

Just stick it on if you can

Man, that stinks about the sound.
It is common to add another muffler to quiet it down some.

Why not cut the small one out and install a larger one, then sell the smaller one?

Sounds like you need some J Pipes. They will keep the outside sound but eliminate the drone inside - especially at cruise. They are very popular with the Camaro and G8 folks. The J Pipe applies the same principal Corsa (and some others) use to keep their exhaust drone free.

Pics of somebody who added J pipes to their Borla mufflers (scroll down for pics):

Check out Solo Performance. They sell exhaust kits with J Pipes in them for lots of applications. They also sell stand alone, weld in J-Pipes if you email them (I don't think they have this posted on their website).

You don't need to buy a J Pipe. You can have a muffler shop make one for you.
