OK, GM needs to reverse the polarity. There is one wire coming out of the ballast with a big plug on it, the OEM plug goes to that, and you will see a tab on it for the clip to grab, TURN THE OEM PLUG AROUND so it WILL NOT CLIP, you have to secure it using electrical tape, zip ties, whatever your heart desires.

Then, put the bulb in the housing, plug the two wires off the bulb into the two wires on the ballast, discard the other plug with the relay looking thing, you should not need it. I just put my 6000K HIDs in yesterday.

If you want pics, I can try to get some for you in a little bit. It is really easy though. Before you put everything back together, make sure it works!

I got some HID's also but when I turn them on they flicker and sometimes one side doesnt turn on unless I turn them off then back on! please help!

Your problem is probably the poalrity issue as well in my above post. Check that and make sure everything is nice and tight with all the connections.

ok so, with the help of my father, the ASE certified master technician, i got this all worked out.

The plug on the ballast does not go to the factory plug as johnny mentioned (we might have done it different ways) but plugs in to the bulbs plug.

the problem eliminators pieced together also.

What i did was remove the 3 pin relay, and wired that to my factory plug, and vwalla, 8000k!
