Replaced the floor vinyl in the seating area with new OEM. It had a hole under the driver’s heel.

While I was in there I put down some Dynamat under the jute. First drive I can’t really notice any difference. Previously I did the door skins and rear hatch which did make an obvious reduction in road noise.
@Bill 1960, where did you find your OEM vinyl flooring?

I ordered it from my local dealer. I know a lot of people hate on dealers, but these guys give me a discount from list prices and I support them with my parts business. Then when I run into something I can’t, or don’t want to work on, I have an ongoing relationship and the service guys take good care of me. I spent so much time (and money) there last year we’re all on a first name basis.

Really Cool Thread. Thanks for Sharing! Did you re-gear with 3.73s or did the SSV come with those or do you have the 4L80? How do you like the gearing? I'm planning to make the switch to 35s when I can regear from 3.42s and trying to decide if I should jump to 4.10s (I have a 6L80)

If you have 3.42s and oem size tires, then running 35's and 3.73's should put you right around the same gearing. Shift points and speeds should all be about the same.

Today I made a donation to the state to get myself a specialty tag. I figure this will give people pause from 50 feet away. :D

And no, that's not my real tag number, that's photoshop. If you get that joke you're telling your age.
Great idea, as it would definitely make me slow down coming up on your six if I were doing my usual 9-11 miles over the limit.
