So lately I’ve had the service stabilitrak and traction control warning lights with code c0710. I recently drove from SoCal to western Illinois and picked up a nail in my driver rear tire on the way. I replace it with a used tire just to make it to Illinois. I notice sometime after arriving the truck is pulling to the left constantly. During this same time I take the truck to the dealership for the code and lights. They can’t find the reason after several visits, and I finally get around to downsizing my wheels and tires to new 265/70r17’s and the pull goes away and the warning doesn’t come back. So I clear the code and drive back to California and it hasn’t come back. Could the constant pull and holding the steering wheel to the right have caused the code and warnings? Sorry for the long post.

You had the code first and then the nail and then the used tire install. Then the pull left. I guess anything is possible but the code was first. The progression of the problems does not match the question, IMO. I am confused.

Did the code come after the nail in tire and used tire? The story progression details do not say that.

Sorry, the nail was first.

The steering angle sensor receives a 12 V reference voltage from the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). The EBCM receives high speed controller area network (CAN) message inputs from the steering angle sensor identifying the position and direction of the steering wheel rotation. The EBCM utilizes this signal to calculate the driver intended driving direction.

That is what CO710 is

the used tire probably did match the vehicles other tires sizes (circumference/roll out)
