I'm planning to use one of my flat floor jacks with some form of wood base and a ratchet to secure the 4l60e. I was wondering if I can get away without buying an adapter with angle adjuster, and instead just place it on a flat base/ratchet strap and try to pull it out, or is there a lot of maneuvering involved and an adapter/jack is must? My 4l60e has around 40k miles but the pump has been leaking for a while. It could just be the pump seal/ converter o ring, but I don't wanna risk it and rather rebuild the pump with new bushings/seals/filters and slap it back in. From what I've gathered these things either leak from a bad bushing or it wasn't aligned properly. That and I plan to do the rear man, cover gasket and barbell while at it. Thanks in advance
