"If the item stated as brand new is found defective on arrival or incorrect item was shipped, buyer understands that the product will be repaired or replaced at seller's discretion, and be given a reasonable amount of time. All presumed defective or wrong items must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number before returning. Any returned packages: Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance. All shipping and handling fees will not be refunded in any case. All customers have 7 days to contact us about the issue and 30 days to ship the item(s) back to us."

From the ebay listing.... Send it back and say its defective, was made wrong. The only part im not to sure on, is the "buyer understands that the product will be repaired or replaced at seller's discretion" does that mean you have to pay to fix thier mess up. If so, thats not good business.

Hope you get it figured out either way.

So here is whats happening. After playing ebay message tag with him for a few days. I finally got a number and called him. He told me to text him a picture and he could tell right away if I had the correct on or not. I sent him these pictures.

BTW these are with the bumper pushed all the way on there im not just holding it up there.

After the pictures were sent he said nothing back for two days until I messaged him on ebay, so he sent me a text tonight.

He tells me its the correct bumper and that I should take it to a body shop for a second opinion

I tell him that I went to a vocational school for two years for body and paint and dont need a body shop to tell me that a bumper cover that is pushed in all the way and is still a good 3 inches from fitting over the sides will never fit.

He started telling me to try and put it on from side to side and take my fog lights off.(I was thinking yeah no shit! Dont you think I would have done that before going to all this trouble.)

He tells me I can keep the bumper for a partial refund or return it for a full. Then he told me I should do the partial because it would probably fit with some cutting and moding.

I said I want to return it and i'll just have to loose out on the cost of the paint job. I reminded him that his ebay listing says you only have to take the valance off.

In the end we worked out an agreement that he is gonna give me a full refund and let me keep the bumper cover since im already $550 into this after his crazy ass shipping prices, and paint. As long as I leave good feedback and five stars on his ebay.

My refund should be monday.

Glad your getting your money back, thats good. and you get to keep it.
After looking at those pics, looks like a defected bumper. Its way off on the sides. Im assuming its not the plastic ones? (didnt go back to the 1st post) But still off, I still dont really see how that should fit. He should announce that, mods required. Eh.. well at least it ended up alright.

What are you going to do with it?

I have no idea what im gonna do with it for now its just taking up space in my garage. I imagine he let me keep it because it would cost more in shipping to send it back to him than it does to make one.
