dear

just lower the suv to the ground or grease up the jacking points this way it will slip off and crush them like the prius owner did https://abc7.com/prius-catalytic-converter-theft-convert-thefts-shield-anti/10427177/

honestly i did not think this was an issue because they're tucked in the engine bay on the tahoe/suburban/pickup
I thought the same thing, because the cats come right off the manifold and would be hard to get to , but I took my Sawzall, slid under the Hoe and could reach the up side of the cat, its not easy and hopefully there are enough Honda Elements to go around that are easy targets, ha. Great karma on the Prius video, you play you pay.

Im gonna assume you took your corded sawzall under the Tahoe and tested it? So your sawzall is maybe 16-20” long plus blade? Google battery hackzalls. They’re much smaller, pack the same punch, and a only need 1 hand to operate. It Just got easier and more accessible with that tool

A new law just took effect here that stops metal recyclers from buying them unless you’re a shop or dealer, and they have to be registered to do so. Only problem is right across the Columbia River is Vancouver WA and they’re lagging behind us, they haven’t passed the same legislation. It should be a federal law that only registered businesses can sell them to recyclers.

But I’d like to see them trying to get the ones off my Silverado.

Remote start it to startle them then, I don't know...

...curb stomp 'em?
the red button with the LOUDEST horn you can find that will make the jerk up and hit their head

thefts should slow down anyway because the prices are dropping for scrap
