Cel after oil sending unit replacement

11 denali 6.2

Had oil sending unit replaced, they Took off manifold to do it, now i have random misfire code that I didn’t have before this, any guess as to what is wrong now? If I continue to drive it, what damage could it cause?

Possibly intake gasket leaking.

take it back and request they replace the gasket on the intake they took off, they probably didn't use a new one and just stuck it back on, now it's leaking (sucking air in)

ok, that was my guess also, tach moves at little at idle, but don’t notice other driving issues, I think i hear a vaccum sound, but not sure

unless the leak was really bad you probably could not hear it, you can test for a leak by spraying starting fluid around the edges of the intake where it mounts to the engine and see if the idle goes up, when it hits a leaky spot and gets sucked in the idle will change abruptly.

Ok, so they say no leak, replaced plugs and wires, and after 20 miles light came back on.... they were original plugs

Can you try a different shop? Feels like they are throwing parts at your truck and charging you for it without doing any kind of analysis.
