And on a side note ... I realize the pic is in black and white, but I was wondering if there's such a thing as a brushed steel style (to match the 'Tahoe' lettering) chevy bowtie replacement accessory for front and rear?

Once again, thanks for any and all help.

Cheers!

Yes, you can get them in either the chrome (like mine) or a brushed finished. You can get them many places I'm sure but I've seen them on LMC's website as well as Stylin Trucks.

Ah, thanks man, I found them at both stores.

Any ideas what those rims are on that pretty black truck? :)

It says the center caps are included ...

I think I have to buy new sensors but I was hoping to use my existing lug-nuts, but I'm not sure if that's possible or if it will look right.

I actually did a search for these guys on this forum and didn't find any feedback ... but it says on their ebay listing that if you use discount code J103175 you can get any set of 4 wheels for the price of 3. Plus their tire prices also seem reasonable.

I doubt your pre-existing lug nuts will work.

I have no idea but I agree they do look pretty darn good! :waytogo: I'm not very good at pinpointing what each rim style is from a pic :)

Well ladies and gents, I pulled the trigger. :)

76b373e8a6.jpg

Bought a set of the oem 22" wheels in the OP, set of 4 goodyears, and TPSMs, and chrome caps for a total of $2000 from www.chevroletpartsforless.com.

I think I did well with the price, the wheels themselves came out to approx $1200 which is rather good for wheels that have $612.86 price.

And yes, I'll post teh pics when I gets them on. :pimp:

Nothing is simple these days ... :emotions122:

Just got my money refunded from the seller cause those rims are on back order and the special will elapse by the time they get em in stock. :(

The only oem 22s available from this seller are THESE.

But I don't want those, they're stupid ... there, I said it! :yucky:

 Couldn't have said more eloquently than that. I think my 4 year old has uttered the same phrase a time or two when referring to a toy!!

more air = more fuel. computer handles that. Not sure how that saves gas mileage tho?
Not quite.

The supercharger needs a new tune which corrects the fuel amount for the air amount. Higher pressure = higher molecular amount of oxygen in the air = more complete/efficient combustion when ignited with the fuel. Therefore, more efficient, better mileage. People who lose mileage are people who are pushing the pedal too hard.

Ouch!! Your use of the word molecular made my brain lock up and now I have smoke coming out my ears....
