I am learning.
I will admit, I LIKE to drive fast, especially on the highway. My normal cruising speed is 80mph.

I've had the governor turned off on everything for so many years it's not even a thought any more, it's just a case of well how fast can it actually go? which turns into a theoretical math equation where the aerodynamics win, she'll hit a rpm limit in a lower gear because "air" put that engine on a skateboard and then you need downforce to keep from flying lol.

mine's about 85 this keeps me from getting a bigger ticket and.. that's cruising speed for the highway patrol around here and so that keeps whatever gap there is between me and them the same. but if there is open road and clear line of sight it's game on.

that happened to me years ago down in So Cal I was cruising at almost 160 in a pos mazda 626 on about 8 lanes of freeway and here comes 2 supercars one on each side of me passed me like I was standing still almost, I don't even know what they were probably something exotic.

Wow...I have never been in anything like that. I am low class trash. Closest I came was chasing a Coyote Mustang down I-85 one night in my Porsche 928S doing 130+. He completely left me, but it was fun.

The cleaning tools consisted of a can of CRC aerosol Throttle Body And Air Intake Cleaner and a lowly toothbrush. I had a can of SeaFoam standing by. The service manual calls for GM Top Engine Cleaner to be used as solvent for cleaning the throttle body. In my experience over the years, SeaFoam is very similar to GM Top Engine Cleaner. I ended up not needing the SeaFoam. The CRC stuff worked just fine.

I cleaned the bore and blade through a combination of spraying directly on them, spraying on a rag and wiping, and spraying on a toothbrush and scrubbing. The residue came right off without much of a fuss. I don't know how bad these engines dirty up the throttle bodies, but I don't think this one

change the oring on the MAF sensor it has a leak

a mazda 626 is nothing special just a 6 banger sedan, 5 speed, speedo went to 150 but they would go that fast if you had enough road, there was no governor.
pretty sure those did have a timing belt though

Heheheheh... I was referring more to the super cars passing you. In my neck of the woods, there are no super cars. Have to go an hour either direction to Charlotte NC or Greenville SC for any money like that.
My 928S has a timing belt. A 7 foot long timing belt.
