Hey all,

A buddy of mine (who has a 2010 Escalade) believes that the best set-up is the Volant tube with the stock air box and an aftermarket, oil-less filter (forget the brand at the moment). He has messed around with a few different set-ups, and believes that this is the best.

What are YOU using? Can you feel any gains? Would you do something different if you were to do it over?

Thanks for the advice, folks.

I am running a K&N CAI with a heat shield around the filter. I have also had a Volant, both are excellent products.

I have a Airaid mini kit, air tube and filter for the factory box. Sounds cool, you can hear the engine open up and suck in air.

Spectre CAI...didn't really think it made that much difference until I pulled it off. My truck seemed noticeably weaker. I put it back on and you can definitely tell the difference in the low end power.
