Comp cam help out??

I have a 04 tahoe lifted.
I'm looking to get a comp cam for it looking at like the 214/218 I just want It to have a good lope at idle that old school badass sound. Was wounding what are some good comp cams that'll help me out and are they smog legal!? Or am I going have to take it out again to smog?

Just call comp cams and be done with it. Tell them what you have, how you drive it and what you use it for and what you expect out of your new cam and they will get you dialed in the first time. or you can go down to uncle Johns house or your neighbors best friends friend and get that big rumpty rump cam that he says will be perfect for you and hope for the best.

For being lifted with bigger wheels you will want a torque cam. The cam I got is a .607/.614 219/227 112LSA. I LOVE this cam. Now for smog I don't know if you will pass.

But before you do any cam you need at least Intake, exhaust, and headers to be able to suply the motor with enough air and to be able to get that exhaust out.

And of course you will need a tune.

I have exhaust for intake would like the ls2 intake be fine? Or you talking about like intake manifold or like k&n system intake?

I meant like k&n. The stock manifold will fit your needs fine.
