If you do end up replacing the radiator, be sure to get one with the proper restrictor for the hose that goes to the surge tank. No restrictor means your engine may not warm up.
I’ve never heard of that. Do you have experience with this or have you just read about it?

just buy a brand name radiator like radcool, I just bought one the other day for ex's 04 cost $145.00, you should be able to r&r that and have it filled and ready to roll in a couple hours tops if you haven't done it before
