2004 Tahoe 5.3 135xxx on the clock. leaking Coolant about gallon every 3 weeks. not in the oil, thanks God. upon inspection today I found antifreeze on the top of the skid plate. looks like the lines are leaking that go to the transmission? Lines come out of the radiator and turn down. any ideas? can this be done myself or need take to shop?20170214_113919.jpg 20170214_113604.jpg

HaHaHa I can assure you your transmission lines arent leaking engine coolant! If they are, you got real big problems! There isnt suppose to be engine coolant in your transmission!
Check your water pump weep hole. Is there residue on the water pump body that runs downward? Its hard to pinpoint fluid leakage with the fan blowing stuff everywhere while running.

At auto parts stores you can get a kit with ultraviolet die and a special flashlight with an LED that puts out ultraviolet light. Put the die in the coolant, drive, use flashlight to find possible sources of leak.
