You should be able to find it if you pressurize the system. Grab a harbor freight coolant system tester. With a leak like that I can't imagine system not to be dropping pressure
Thats right where my 03 Tahoe 5.3L runs once it warms up and thermostat opens up and settles.Changed out the thermostat with another one, and still having the same problem. Now instead of being between 160 and 210, now it's running at 210. Not overheating, but running warmer then it was.

The seal looks good on it and I don't see any cracks, but still a good idea. I'm gonna price it out. ThxDid you happen to check or replace the cap? It's the only thing left if you pressurized the system and it was holding with no leaks
