the vette servo i think i mentioned before just basically lets you tac it out before it shifts
if wanting a real hard shift were it jerks yer head back and squeaks the tires a little going into second yer gonna need either like a stage 2 rebuild kit vette servo or stage 2 shift kit and not the 40 dollar kits ther usually in the 150 dollar range

Where is it supposed to shift at now? Mine is shifting at about 5500 at WOT.

Well, just Finished installing the Vette Servo and test drove it... I guess it shifts a little firmer. Over all it was an easy install.

Yeah the servo by itself isn't going to give you neck snapping shifts, but it sure improved the shift times for me.

okay if its shifting at like 5500 with a WOT then its working basically now when it shifts is determined by what your throttle position is at so as youve already discovered is when you put the pedal to the floor and keep it there untill it shifts it wont shift untill just under redline now if you only give it 50 percent throttle itll hold the shift untill about 3000 rpm im guessing "how ever much you put your foot into it is going to determine what point it will shift" more gas the higher the RPM it will shift at

in order to get neck snapping shifts requires an aggressive shift kit upgrade or rebuild kit

Just ordered mine. I'll be doing this once I get back from vacation. I'm ready to see some improvement.

I just had the Corvette servo installed and don't notice much difference, if any. The shop that installed it said my tranny has a shift kit already installed so maybe that's why. Oh well, I can still say my truck has a Corvette servo and that SOUNDS cool anyway.

I'm curious if it shifts perhaps too firm in Tow/Haul mode after Corvette servo install.
BB already raised my line pressure their standard amount, which firmed and quickened shifting. I talked to 2 different auto trans shops and their opinion was mixed whether it would firm up the shifts too much, to the point of premature wear. You could always use the Tow/Haul mode to have firmer shifts and hold it in each gear longer.

Just installed one on my 2003 Yukon xl. Noticed a little bit firmer shift especially in T/H. Not a waste of $17 by any means but looking forward to the end result after a street tune.
