After much deliberation I ended up ordering one of these as well.

I can always do the boost valve when I feel like dropping the pan if I want a little more line pressure I guess. That's the other reason I went this route, I'm not in a rush to drop the pan. :)

I have the cover off, the third gear apply piston off and I am Trying to figure out how to wiggle the assembly out now...

got it out, there was a heat shield in the way... bent it out of the way.

Lubed, reassembled and installed. Seems to shift a bit crisper into 2nd gear. Also sounds like its chirping 2nd, but this thing is awd, and there is no way its a tire chirp. I am afraid that it is slipping @ WOT going into 2nd.

When blackbear tuned my yukon i had the line pressure maxed out, Does anyone know if putting the vette servo in would cause any problems with the line pressure already maxed?

My rear main seal is leaking and since i have to take the transmission out to replace it i`d much rather put the servo in when it`s on a bench.

Call blackbear and see what their suggestion is.

Servo install isn't that bad when its in the vehicle. Just did it on my XL with it on jacks.

Well, just Finished installing the Vette Servo and test drove it... I guess it shifts a little firmer. Over all it was an easy install.
