SW CT,
If you end up going with the 305/55's then you will be trimming so do not put the front tires on until you pull the plastic fender liner out. This way you will be able to see what exactly needs to be trimmed. Up front behind the foglights there is a plastic honeycomb type support, you will need to cut this support back. You want to cut just enough so that the screw for the front bumper still has a spot to screw into(the stock spot). Once you get it clearenced then make a couple slots in the remaining plastic support so one of those large(3ft-4ft) wire ties will fit thru it, you will need 2 slots for 2 seperate locations to pull the fenderliner back once it is installed again. The backside of the wheelwell is where the trimming of metal comes into play. If you go over to dieselplace.com and search for large fender mod you will find a step by step procedure to gain more clearance. If that does not do it, which it should then let me know I have a couple other tricks to do to allow a little more clearance.
Hope this helps, I know reading it is confusing and I can see if I have any pics of it, but crawl under your Yukon and just take it all in so you are familiar with the types of materials you will be working with and figure out if you have the correct tools to do the job.

Hey thanks a lot! I really appreciate your help. I ended up getting the 305/55 trail grapplers. After seeing the photos of your Tahoe you had with them on it I couldn't resist them over the Terra's! I am excited to get it all done, if the wheels get here in time I hope to have to finished by the end of the weekend.

I got the liners pulled out the stock wheels off and the pinch weld on one side cut out. I am just getting ready to bend the lower fender back into place.

I was just wondering if you cut the cab mount tabs off that stick out on the drivers side as well?

I was wanting to trim the front as well before I mount the tires and I think I understand what you were talking about when you said to trim up to the hole where the bumper gets screwed to. It would be the second screw in this picture.

Here is a view from the top. Here you can see the screw holding the bumper to the honeycomb spacer.

Did you just cut back following the edge of the bumper towards the screw that holds the bumper on and then just cut straight over towards the center of the truck to cut it off, or did you angle it to take more off as you went while cutting it off? Just wanting to get as much done now. I'm sure there will be some fine tuning once I mount the wheels and check everything.

Level kit should be in tomorrow. I forgot about Presidents day today, no mail!

SW CT,
I will look for pics on the front trimming...you should not need to trim the cab body mount tab since it is far enough in that the tire arc doesn't come into contact.
