If you’re talking the 926-336 that’s the extension panel that goes between the dash and the windshield. It usually doesn’t crack but can do it when you remove it in order to replace the dash itself. I used it on my 08 Silverado when I replaced the dash because the GM one was around $250 iirc. It looked identical to OEM in fit and color/ texture. Add that to the cost of the dash itself which I bought at the time for around $400 and it was an expensive fix. I see the dash is about $600 delivered now. The dash has to be shipped freight due to the huge box it comes in thus the big price and dealers don’t stock them. I used an online dealer which was cheaper than my local one. I was hoping you linked an actual Dorman dash replacement but I see they offer an overlay that glues on instead. I don’t care for them due to the fact they look like an overlay where the airbag and other openings are. Sigh. I just bought an 08 Tahoe that has guess what… a cracked dash. :(

I installed the dorman panel. the panel closer to the windshield. perfect fit for $100. Easy install, and now recovering the A-pillars in black to match the dash. Luckily this truck the main dash is not cracked.
