You can't reply until we decide on a date to install my lowering kit @iamdub [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Wait- what issues did the Comps have? I never saw or heard of anything about this. I have a Comp trunnion kit in the built 243s slated for my 5.3. They were assembled 3-4 years ago for another build and never used. I don't wanna follow up deleting the AFM lifters with the installation of defective rocker bearings!
Google "Comp Cams trunion upgrade failure" or something along that line and settle in for some reading. It pissed me off that I didn't read about it until after I had installed them, I was following on some advice from someone else who also wasn't aware obviously. I would have gone a different direction if I'd known there was ever a problem, even if it was in the past. I still might just say f it and get some shaft mount full roller rockers from Vinci High Performance but they're $600. Roger Vinci says I can get 20 hp and 25 ft/lbs of torque with them so that's actually cheap HP per $. I mean, what's another $600 right lol.

Ok... How about some time AFTER I determine my trunnions are the good or bad ones? The sooner, the better for both of us, right?

Maybe by then I'll have the rest of my parts and can drop mine the same day. Just need the McG coil relocators and all new shocks.

Considering the cost of the trunnion kit, installation, and what it could cost if it fails, that $600 might not be so bad being the "safe" route.

Ok, so after more time in the truck listening to these speakers, I must say. It was definitely a good investment for the price and worth the time to install them. MUCH better thane the junk Bose that I removed.

They are way brighter in the high end and the bass and miss are good too!

The first pic is settings I used for the Bose speakers.

Second pic is the current settings! This was me using my BT adapter and listening to Pandora.

Geez, it's a hot ***** in South Louisiana today. I washed and waxed the truck, and sealed the wheels with poor boy's wheel sealer. It was a half assed job though. It definitely needs clay bar, and compound. I'll handle that up when the kids go back to school. I even got in the kids pool to cool off when I was done [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] dce1fbf96f5ee90dc97f6ce9040b6f60.jpg
