To give you a little history of the Dana 60, they used it behind the 426 Hemi 4spd cars. Dodge used them up to 2001 in the front of the 3/4-1ton pickups with the Cummins diesel and you know they can push 600-800ftlb of torque very easy. Ford used them in the F series with the power stroke. Needles to say, this is one stout unit, and with proper parts they can handle 2000hp drag cars. so I think it will live just fine in the rear for your Yukon....even if you put a blower/turbo on it.

What living said. The Dana 60 is as strong or arguably stronger than the 14bolt FF

my 2008 ranger fx4 had dana 35 4.10 ratios
4.10 is the standered axle ratio for an F550 with the 6.7 liter powerstroke with 660 ft lbs
so you got aways to go

This is my second quadrasteer. A fantastic idea with bad marketing.
I have yet to have a problem with it.

Great in the parking lot and on the highway the handling is far better then stranded axle.

I think the Quadrasteer would be awesome for offroading

Dana 60 is a beast. Preferred choice for all serious Jeepers.

Also love the quadrasteer. I hope they bring it back at some point because it just works well.

They don't measure axle strength like this. If you have huge wheels and tires or even a locker, the axle may break with low horsepower or torque. If you had 10" tall wheels and open carrier you could probably run 2000 horsepower.

Dana 60 should be good enough. I'd only be concerned if you're running 35" tires and 600lbs+ torque. The strength of the axle will also go down of the gears aren't setup correctly. Dana 60 is normally great.

Thanks, my plan is to push about 550lbs torque to it. 35" tire would be the max I want for street driveablity.

All up sounds like a fluid change and she should be good to go.
