Yes, upgrade your lifters.
You have 4 conventional lifters and 4 that collapse in DOD mode.
If you're swapping cams and upgrading your valve train, why would you leave factory collapsible lifters in there?

This is one of many kits available for dod delete.

I have checked these out before... Out of my price range... What about the compcam lifters?

Are you doing this work yourself?
id rather change them vs having to pull it all back apart to replace everything an possibly your motor. Its just my .02. Id rather not risk the lifter failing imo

LS7 lifters are around $100.

LS7 lifters are around $100.

My good friend is a master mechanic and is helping me...
K... I'll look into finding some LS7 lifters... Thanks!!!
