This has been my best forum thread I asked . That what I wanted to compare someone who has almost near engine size and see if it was my Tahoe with an issue of fuel so I guess I’ll be around there and I can forget the the sticker on epa 14 miles in the city I guess that snake oil the epa sticker. Your response has helped me a lot. I don’t know to many here with the 6.0 or 6.2 engine people here . Just only a few and there city driving sounds way off to mine thought it was my tanoe . I guess I’ll be more patient and wait and see what happens I guess the Epa sticker threw me off a lot and made me go nuts.......

Some cars can easily exceed the EPA mileage ratings while others find that a real challenge Jorge. It's Sunday, after church take a drive up A1A to West Palm or Even Hobe Sound. When I was a kid I would do that on many weekends, head down to Miami from Fort Lauderdale and then pull the t-tops off my car and take a lazy cruise along the beach and stop somewhere for lunch and then head home via 95. There will be plenty of stop and go on A1A but also stretches that will allow you to travel more than a mile in some parts without slowing down or getting up past 55 mph. Reset your MPG at the start of this little trip and you'll see.

You would have freaked had you seen my window sticker, someday I'll take a picture and post it for you! LOL

Well there you go! Have lunch at the Dune Dog Cafe in Jupiter or the new one in Stuart! Go A1A with detours around Port Everglades and the Port of Palm Beach. Jupiter should be plenty good to watch the mileage climb. From Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach will be a nice drive without too much stop and go. Say hi to @Mrsteef when passing through Boca. If you're plenty satisfied by the time you hit Deerfield Beach, have lunch at the Whale's Rib instead!

Well didn’t get to head up to stuart but went to Lake Okeechobee. My highway milage calculation. Went with full tank of gas and filled back when when arrived home. I drove 225 miles and computer average is 22 . By calculation of fill up and dived miles driven I got 20.1 mile per gallon. The Suv was filled with 5 people and average speed like 63 miles.
The Highway milage is great 22 mpg it is in the city I guess it doesn’t perform as well getting low mpgs.

Great! Did you have a catfish sandwich at Pogey's in Okeechobee City? Or did you run up Bloody 27 into South Bay and Belle Glade? Anyhow, glad there's nothing wrong with it, now enjoy it!

Glad you finally took your 6.2 RST for a good run. Nothing wrong with it just like everyone here said.
