Well either do the Premiere with the 5.3 or High Country with Diesel
Many of my friends and family members have had experience with the LM2 and LZO. They all loved them with only one going into the shop with a coolant control valve issue. A couple of them does some heavy towing and yes they've confirmed the diesels drink DEF like a college frat house on homecoming. The others just drives normal city/highway and they all brag about the MPGs. Most changed their fuel filter every 30k miles and oil every 5-6k. After driving a Silverado with the LM2, I was impressed enough to order my Yukon with the LZO.

If you’re not towing the only reason for the 6.2 is the fun factor, which is something to consider. I can tell you I have both but only the truck has the 5.3 and 10 speed and it takes off and pulls hard. The 6.2 is an 07 so no AFM and it’s a blast to drive. For day to day and long trips the 5.3 wins.
