Is it just me, or has anyone else with an '09 / '10 Yukon/Tahoe been frustrated with browsing for aftermarket parts online?

I realize there's typically a lag when a new model year is introduced for the manufacturers to update their engineering & websites for whatever changes GM makes, but I still seem to be out of luck when looking for certain parts for my '09 Yukon, and we're nearly through the first 1/4 of 2010.

For example, I just looked at a recent thread by emann_01 regarding a smokin' deal on a Corsa Sport exhaust from StreetSideAuto.com (only $671) and they don't offer a '09 Yukon/Tahoe in their drop down menu...only '08 and below. This price doesn't appear to be a closeout either.

Had the same issue when looking for a K&N CAI last year. They didn't even have anything listed on K&N's website for an '09, and that was in August. I have found parts by Volant and AirAid.

Even on SummitRacing.com, if you search for all parts for an '09 and then compare with a search for an '08, there seems to be much greater variety of various parts for the '08.

Regarding the exhaust, is there so much of a difference an '08 Corsa exhaust wouldn't fit my '09?

Just curious what the major or minor changes were.

corsa exhaust pricing has been dropping ,especially the more common sport. It the touring that retains its value because theres just fewer and less places that sell em

I'm not aware of any changes that would effect fitment of exhaust and CIAs from 07-10.

hmmmmm...well then I guess I'll keep my eyes peeled. Always wanted a Corsa sport exhaust, but never wanted to pay $1,100 for one! I wish Corsa would offer just the muffler without the tubing or tips...I'll probably end up modifying their catback system into turn-downs and dump just inside the rear bumper. Always liked/had hidden exhaust.

It's making it a real hassle to find anything for a reasonable price

I agree...definitely had to do more research and shopping around on parts for my Yukon than any Sierra I've ever owned.

I got the resonator cut off my Denali on Wednesday and it is way cheaper than buying an exhaust and it's LOUD. It definitely "unleashed the beast"

yes I noticed the same. Just saw the Corsa Catback at Amazon for 2XX.00 but only for 07/08 nothing for 09 6.2L....
I was going to get the Volent resnoator delete with tip but they said it will not fit a 09 as well. Still patiently waiting....................:sleepy10:

i have a Tahoe 6.2 also. I e-mailed Corsa to ask if they have a system for it. The response was that there are so few of the vehicle out there that they haven't had one to test. He thought a GMC 6.2 would probably fit, but not sure. I assume that's why we can't find other performance parts. I found a GMPP CAI the other day at an out of state dealer. Those have been discontinued. I'm looking for an exhaust and tune because there is a definite difference between my performance and an Escalade.

I had no idea GM put the 6.2 in the Tahoe. Guess i missed the news flash.... I would say its a safe bet to go with the Denali / regular (not ext or exv) escalade corsa kit.

btw
Is your Tahoe 4wd????????
