To add to this post:
The pickups in this series had a max towing package called the NHT which gave them a 10,400 towing capacity for a 4x4 with 3.73 gears and a 6.2 engine and some other mods like the 9.5 semi-floater axle. This is a 1/2 ton more than the next most capable to rating.
