I think your seat belt tensioner must be bad then.

I removed my seat belts last week to detail the interior of my 99 Yukon and there is not a single electrical connection..........so I do not see how the DRL system can effect the seat belt tensioners
That's interesting, my seat belts stay snug with the module in place, but they will not tighten up at all with it removed.

Yeah the only electrical connection to the seats belts on my 99 Yuk is to the seat belt buckle ........and thats only for the annoying seatbelt dummy light on the gauge cluster

There's a module under the dash you can unplug, and it will get rid of daytime running lights.
